Texas, you lost a broadcaster in the death of Njeri Thomi Kariuki from illness, and in another level of distress caused by Hurricane Harvey, life was disrupted for many Texans. With heartfelt sympathy... God bless all who have saved lives, whether paid work or volunteer services. This must be so hard for everybody. We are sorry for your loss.

 

Houston is battling to recover from devastating flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey, a category four storm which has dumped a record breaking amount of rain on the city in recent days.
